A delicious start to each day
From the moment we arrived, Cathy and Bruce treated us like family. Their homemade breakfasts, featuring fresh ingredients, made each morning special. After a day of exploring the stunning surroundings, unwinding in the hot tub while taking in the panoramic mountain views was pure bliss.
While the lodge's tranquil setting was a dream for relaxation, it was about a 15-minute drive from downtown Golden, which wasn't a hassle but worth noting for those craving immediate access to the town’s nightlife.

Cozy rooms with a charming ambiance and a secluded feel make for a relaxing getaway. The Deluxe King Suite offers a comfortable space, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure.
While the location is peaceful, it's a bit outside the main area, requiring a quick road drive to reach the city. The only minor inconvenience was the absence of a fan in the room, as the cozy atmosphere is more suited for winter stays.

Our cozy Deluxe King Suite impressed us, but the 15-minute drive from Golden downtown was a minor inconvenience. The hot tub offered stunning mountain views.

the location woudl ve been charming if it wasn't a 15-minute drive from anything worthwhile. and can we talk about the breakfast time? 8am sharp? how unaccommodating! i was expecting a complimentary upgrade but got nothing. after such inconvenience, i just couldn't bring myself to give a decent review, it was a real pity, honestly.

We had a fantastic family stay with our newborn! The views from the lodge were stunning. Cathy’s breakfasts were a daily highlight, and the cozy shared living area was perfect for relaxing. The terrace provided a lovely spot to enjoy the fresh mountain air.
My wife says that a play area for kids would be great.

The cozy atmosphere in the lodge is perfect for relaxation after a long day of karaoke and exploring nearby casinos. The hot tub provided stunning mountain views, and the shared kitchen was a great convenience for snacks and drinks. Cathy and Bruce made our mornings special with their delicious vegan breakfasts, showcasing their culinary talents.
The only hiccup was the requirement to have breakfast at exactly 8am, which might not suit everyone.
